2024 Outdoor Soccer Registration

Out for Kicks soccer league is an all-gender, recreational league for 2SLGBTQIA+ players and their allies, running from April to September. OFK provides an outlet for players to enjoy the game of soccer in a fun, safe and social atmosphere. No prior soccer experience is necessary to join. Our summer season includes weekly practices and scrimmages to help players develop their skills, as well as weekly league games culminating in a friendly knockout round playoff in August.

The league consists of 10 teams with games taking place on Wednesdays at Andy Livingston Park from 6:00-10:30pm. All players are required to have the appropriate soccer gear, including soccer cleats (for turf), shin pads, shorts, and socks. You are also required to remove any jewelry or piercings, and only sport-safe eye wear is allowed on the field.

***Note: OFK is bound to follow all Provincial Health Guidelines. We will comply with all Public Health Orders and any issuances made by our permit provider, the Vancouver Park Board.

Player Contact Information

Please remember, it is your responsibility to keep your contact information up to date. You can update all your information easily on our web site. All information is kept private and confidential.

Membership

Your membership will only be confirmed upon receipt of membership fee.

Cost: $175 registration fee + $75 refundable jersey deposit = $250

Payment Options:

1) By Credit Card payment. Payment link will be available at the end of the registration process.

2) By Interac e-transfer. $175 to treasurer@outforkicks.ca, (Please use password: Soccer) Due by March 10th, 2024 at noon.

3) By cheque in person at the registration event on Sunday, March 10, 2024 (at Pumpjack Pub).

We do not accept cash payments. Once payment has been made, no refunds can be issued.

You will be assigned a jersey at the Jersey Party on Saturday, April 13th (or at your first game). To receive a jersey, you need to provide a $75 deposit, Credit Card payment along with your league registration fee, or by cheque (can be post dated to September 2024. Cheques must be submitted at the registration event on Sunday, March 10th, 2024. Someone else may submit for you.

You may also e-transfer your $75 with your registration above. Do not send 2 e-transfers. Your $75 will be refunded to you in September, 2023 upon return of your jersey in good condition.

Wait List Instructions

If you are unable to select Full Season Member, you will be put onto the wait list by selecting “Wait List.” If you choose to continue, please select Cheque as a method of payment. If a membership spot opens up, you will be contacted to coordinate skill assessment, and payment of registration fees.

Waiver

I hereby waive and release any and all rights arising from any claims for loss, damages, or personal injury suffered by me, which may arise against Out for Kicks Soccer Club Association and its officers, organisers, or their representatives. By completing this form and checking the box below, I acknowledge that I will comply with the rules and regulations of Out for Kicks Soccer Club Association and the restrictions published or announced by the organisers as a player, spectator, official, or volunteer. I am at least 18 years of age.

Photo release

Throughout the season, we will be documenting Out For Kicks games and social events in photo and video formats for the use on our social media platforms and in promotional activities for the league. By registering for this Out For Kicks season, you acknowledge that Out For Kicks may use your likeness in photographs, videos and other digital media in all its publications, without payment or other consideration. All photos taken will be the property of the Out For Kicks soccer league and may be used for any lawful purpose.
